| The Forzani Group Foundation is a non-profit corporation incorporated under the Canada Corporations Act. It provides financial support to other registered charities, Canadian amateur athletic associations and other qualified donees whose activities involve the promotion of physical fitness, health and wellness, the prevention and relief of sickness and disability, or the participation and education in sports across Canada. Funding for the Foundation is provided through annual events such as the Sport Chek Mother's Day Run and Walk, Forzani Ironman Golf Invitational, Calgary Stampeder Golf Tournament as well as a number of other fundraising initiatives and general donations throughout the year. In the last six years, The Forzani Group Foundation has donated over six million dollars in support of health and wellness and amateur sport programs across Canada. The networked patient monitors purchased will be located in the new pediatric trauma room and will give care teams at the Stollery Emergency Department and throughout the hospital more of the information they need presented in clear and meaningful ways. 12 Lead ECG PageWriter The high performance PageWriter cardiograph speeds the care process from downloading orders, taking an ECG and identifying critical test results to enable clinicians to quickly provide needed cardiac treatment. MP30 Monitor This high performance portable bedside monitoring system provides powerful monitoring capability and essential measurements and will be used when patients need to be transferred from the Emergency Department to other departments within the Stollery. MP70 Monitors This monitor also provides high-performance monitoring for critical and intermediate care settings and will be the main cardiac monitor in the Trauma room. It will not be portable.
